Wow, I'm tired. X_x
Ross took me to Fright Night at a local amusement park and somehow managed to trick talk me into going on two roller coaster rides. I believed him when he said these were the two lowest ones out of the amusement park (they were, actually) but oh god, the sensation of free-falling and my phobia if heights made it so not fun half-way through. @_@; Ah well, the speed was nice, I guess. XD
The amusement park looked SOOOO cool dressed up for Halloween though! All the lights were turned into green, orange or neon blue and all the fountains in the park were dyed into funky neon collars. They had actors all dressed up as monsters (really believable one, not laughable ones Oo;;) and they had three giant haunted houses set up that I dragged Ross into. (To be fair, he's scared of haunted houses and I'm scared of roller coasters, so it worked out.) There was one house that was just AMMMAAAZZZIINNG. It was completely pitch black and filled with smoke, so you were literally hugging the walls while you walked because you could see NOTHING. I don't think I've been in such darkness for a really, really long time. There was also a park where you had to walk into a area where the walls became foam and closed in on you, so not only could you not see, you were literally being squeezed from everywhere, even from the front. That was terrifying, and I can't imagine how someone who was actually claustrophobic would take that.
There was a funny part where Ross put his hand on my shoulder, and then a monster came up inside the haunted house, told him "Shhhh!" and put his hand on my shoulder instead. So I was walking with a monster on my back for a really long time until Ross was like "Uh... Sophie..." LAWL. I loved it all. XD
Entrance.
Pumpkin. ^^
This little Asian place looked SO SPECTACULAR.
NEON WATER FTW.
And I couldn't help thinking that with the dry-ice fog everywhere and all the creepy, diffuse lighting, this place would've been AWESOME at providing background for a Darker than Black cosplay photoshoot. ;___;
