I have come to the realisation that the reason I did so badly in my HSC last year is that I just did not give a damn anymore. I hated the school I was going to at the time, I was completely miserable, and I was having a bitch of a time trying to do the work. Senior secondary work is harder than most people realise.
So I have decided to redo Year 11 and Year 12.
I have a pretty good idea of what I'd like to do - I just wish I didn't have to do English! I might be a writer but I'm hopeless at the subject - I can't understand the theory. I'll probably do:
Standard English (the level I did for the HSC last time)
General Maths (which I love and I'm good at)
French
Geography
Geology
Another language - I don't know what one yet though
I'm not going back to high school to do it though - as if I would ever want to! Nope, I'm going to do it at TAFE. But I swear, if Mum and Dad come down on me like a ton of bricks, like they did when I was still at school, I tell you what, there will seriously be hell to pay...
