It's been a while. I don't really know or care why. There's lots to update on, but I don't feel like it. But I wanted to post this.
I found this while doing something productive (gasp!!) to prepare myself for going to France: researching things to do and see in Angers, France, which is the town where I will be living. While I don't care about the world cup, this just made me laugh my butt off. So, prepare yourself for....
THE COUP DE BOULE!!!!!!
(That's the "Headbutt," to those of you who do not speak French. Losers ;-P)
Apparently a French player named Zidane headbutted an Italian player in the World Cup final (who knew? Not me...) game and got thrown out with a red card. This, along with a few other unfortunate events (like the French player Trezeguet missing his potentially game winning penalty shot), led to some of those crazy Frenchmen having the brilliant idea of writing a catchy and witty song about it. The best part about this song is that it's addictive even if you DON'T speak French OR care about the World Cup. Or both, lol. English lyrics below for your pleasure.
