Sure, we can have a go at it. If the lock is older, are you sure it's well lubed? A squirt of WD-40 might help you out.

The lock is virtually new - not a speck of rust or any debris. I do have plenty of WD-40, of course...

I've since found the keys, but would still love to have some skill as an emergency backup in case I ever run into this again.

Busy Saturday? Maybe you'd like to drop by for tea, play with some locks, and pick up some tables?

I'm running a 5K Saturday morning, but Saturday evening might be doable -- give me a ring Saturday afternoon, and we'll see how on fire or not things are. [grin] Does that work for you?

I know that at some point Saturday, koshkaphoenix and I have a company party for her work to attend. We'd already said yea to the RSVP over a month ago, then all kinds of other neat stuff for this weekend started popping up. Grr. (And apologies to jerro1 and daphodil2.) However, I expect it won't run very late... And she tends to get tired early on as it is.

Maybe after the company gig? I'm anxious to see what we can do with this thing...
