Who Is She
Here I begin
A story to tell
Of two life stories
No one knew that well
One on the right
Another on the left
Two great girls
With life's opposite
She woke each morning to breakfast in bed
She fell asleep each night with tears that bleed.
Who would have thought.
They weren't the say
The life they both lived
Was anything but a game.
School was a prize for what people say
For the other a pain with a stressful day.
Friends she had, that they thought understood
For the other no one knew what she out herself through.
Teachers saw her with no problems to name.
The other saw herself with nothing to gain.
Home life was great from the outside in.
The other was bleeding from these places within.
So far apart these lives I tell.
All ended up in a room like a cell.
Walking in the door "How was your day?"
The other forced to stay out of there way.
"My mother she loves me."
"My father never cared"
My sister adore me.
Mine only stare.
She wants to become something in life.
She wants to die before saying good-bye.
She found ways to deal with all life's bills.
But for her is was just another pill.
Happy she was, smiles to fade.
Tears always fell like yesterdays.
She hides herself good to the people that care.
She shows herself only to the ones that dare.
Perfect she is with plenty to show.
While the other is lost in a world not wanting to know.
She dry's her own tears so no one see's.
While she's crying loudly please find me.
Two different views
From left to right.
Never showing true colors.
Of a truth yet to be uncovered.
They met the first time in a bathroom left clean.
Discovered each other to be one another.
Look towards the front and see this other.
When I look in the mirror, I have two places to be.
Looking for the side no one will see.
Look for this person which society wants to be.
I'm OK, maybe I'm not.
But what I show are these two different thoughts.
So she finds herself lost in her words.
Discovers herself not in lies learned.
Which one am I.
Which one to be?
Cause for some reason I'm not how they've shown me.
