It seems we've encountered quite the predicament. My comrades, our dear friend Mark has returned from the clutches of the Malnosso. However, whether intentionally or accidental, he has been deposited in the desert by those fiends, quite a ways away from the village. I was just about to suggest something similar. We need to determine the most effective way of retrieving him, as well as ensuring his survival. If someone who has more speed can be sent out to find him and ascertain his condition -- bringing of course with them the proper supplies -- then the rest of us involved can make our way there with less worry, as well as tend to him.

Yes. Having a runner, of sorts, to make their way to Mark quickly and ascertain his condition would be the best course of action. Someone quick on their feet, or mounted. Perhaps even someone capable of flight?

Yes, unfortunately, Mark has been rather known to mask his true feelings for the sake of others.

We seem to have a few possibilities. I'm not sure how fast a mount can go in this terrain, though if someone capable of flight were willing to offer their assistance in this matter, then they should go as quickly as they can.

Indeed.

Would you happen to know someone capable of flight, then? If we can rally them to provide their assistance...

Walter comes to mind... I'm not certain if Kratos and Yuan's powers would hold up in light of these new circumstances, though the more assistance we have, the better.

Yes. The more assistance we have, the more likely we are to succeed.
