Quailtard - a really stupid quail
EDIT: Well, seeing as I haven't written in a while this might be a nice time to let you all know what's been going on in my life. Sunday was a lot of fun ... Toni wrote a viola trio that was a great way for me to really understand how to read the alto clef and it sounds pretty good ... we need to work on it a little more, but I can't wait until we play it again for real :-) I can now say that I play the viola *happy dance* And Emma helped Laura and I figure out some fingerings for the music we're playing this semester. So all in all, this is VERY good. I'm so excited about the concert.
Now I have two funny stories to share ...
The first: It's more of a good news and a bad news sort of thing. The good news ... we got a goldfish to go in our little fish bowl yesterday. The bad news ... it is now lying dead at the bottom of said fish bowl. Why you ask ... The fish was a little too big for the bowl ... we think it might have sustained severe brain damage because it hit it's head every time it tried to turn around in the bowl. Poor little fishie ... off it swims to little fishie heaven.
The second: I now have an extension. It took them about three weeks but as with anything Drew, that's normal. The funny thing was, I didn't even know I had an extension until one of the people in my Research Methods group went "Hey, this is your extension right? I looked it up on CampusWeb just in case." And I was like "...Umm, sure. Yeah, that's my number." That was amusing. Thank you TelComm for letting me know.
This is all for now ... I'm just really excited for chessboard with Claire. I still can't get over the fact that I'm learning REAL sword fighting !!!! YAYNESS !!!
