Well... It's been ages since I sat down and just wrote an entry in here, so I thought I'd correct that. ^_^
Nothing spectacular has been happening as of late. School started last week, I have to finish my movie for Visual Design, but I can't think of anything. All we have to have in it is a piece of chalk and that doesn't help my coming up with an idea anymore than Damien jumping on my head would.
I'm hoping to do that university thing sometime in the next three or four weeks and get it out of the way. It seems LJ (our school's deputy) hasn't organised it yet. I'm supposed to annoy him all next week until he gives me exact dates. *shakes fist* You've had over 9 months asshole! Hurry up!
During the Christmas holidays I managed to come up with some designs for my two newest OCs. I just need to draw them so I like them and then introduce them to everyone. Unfortunately, Ante's being a right bastard and doesn't want to leave my mind or my sketchy drawings. It's his hair and eyes. So annoying... Why can't I draw menacing eyes? On anyone?! They always look ... cute. And completely weak. Post's aren't much better, I have to admit.
Which reminds me! I just got the fifth volume of Death Note from the library! L's so awesome! *fangirls* I love his character design and the fight between him and Light was great, though it didn't end as it was supposed to. *daydreams=yaoi* But the series from the bits and pieces I've read is awesome! Now if only I had money... XL
*stares at layout* I loves my new layout. I really does. I've had a thing for checkers and barcodes as of late. *points to avatar* See? Barcode. ^_^
Anyway, I leave you all with some drabbles (they're my musings on the ways of the world):
DRABBLE 1: Rin on Sesshomaru
Lord Sesshomaru says he hates Inuyasha. He says he's a disgrace and filthy and - Rin think he's a kind person. Loud and sometimes rude, but nice. He is like My Lord; he doesn't like people know or think so. Kind people make mistakes though. That's why Rin wonders if Lord Sesshomaru is angry at Inuyasha and if, because he is, Inuyasha is angry at My Lord as well.
Perhaps My Lord would apologise and forgive Inuyasha if Rin asks him what's wrong? Rin's mother always told Rin that talking about her problems would help solve them and make Rin feel better. Lord Sesshomaru seems sad sometimes. So all Rin has to do is make Lord Sesshomaru talk! And then she needs to speak to Inuyasha, so Inuyasha can forgive Lord Sesshomaru in return!
With a grin and a determined run, she puts her plan into action...
DRABBLE2: Sesshomaru on Rin
Sesshomaru watches with a raised brow as Rin's face creases into a determined expression. She had been picking and tieing together flowers happily, peacefully and with a smile on her youthful face. He'd never seen Rin look so passionate about something before, just as he'd seen her make daisy chains more than he cares to remember. There couldn't be anything difficult about making them from what Sesshomaru had seen.
The little girl peers up at him, "Is Rin doing something wrong, My Lord?"
"No."
"Oh." Rin stares at the flower she has been rolling between all her tiny fingers, "Is Lord Sesshomaru upset? Tell Rin and she will make it all better."
Sesshomaru answers slowly, "There is nothing troubling this Sesshomaru, Rin."
Rin smiles, "That's good, because Rin doesn't know how good she is at protecting Lord Sesshomaru. But she will try her best!"
The demon inclines his head in acknowledgement, confusion welling and swirling in his head. What could a human do to protect him, a powerful demon and Lord? She wasn't fully grown and she was claiming to be able to protect him? She truly was confused.
A moment later he finds a flower thrust up into his face. He stares with slightly wider eyes down at the little girl now leaning against his bent knee. He hesitantly takes the fragile flower from Rin's grasp and examines it. He then turns his gaze back on his charge. She just smiles before skipping away. It is the first present he has received from anyone other than those that were given out of duty. Sesshomaru felt his heart swell and found that it was a foreign and strange feeling.
Perhaps she could protect him: just not in ways he could fathom or return.
