Title: Just Parker
Rating/Warning (if any): PG-13 for one tiny bad word, hint of Parker/Hardison
Submission:

Parker. Just Parker. Why does she only go by Parker? We don't know. Does the team know her last name? Is this one little bit of information she's shared with the four people she should now call her family? We don't know, but it's fun to guess. While there are so many unanswered questions, there's a lot to talk about Just Parker. We've seen her grow and open up and share her feelings. We've seen her trust, even the tiniest bit. We've seen her possibly fall in love, something she probably thought she would never do in her whole life. We've seen some of her past, learned a little why she is the way she is now. But for everything we've learned, I'm sure there's a few dozen things we don't know.

She's witty, hilarious, beautiful, and maybe even a little crazy. OK, very crazy. But all of these traits have made the person we see today. She loves to jump off buildings, flip through lasers to get priceless artifacts (and ice cream sundaes); she loves money, not stuff; she can case banks faster than you can ask her why she eats fortune cookies for breakfast. Most of the time, you can find her in comfortable clothes and sneakers, usually black, but occasionally she'll dress up for the jobs that absolutely need another grifter. She likes to time herself picking locks, which is the equivalent of a runner timing how fast they can run a mile to her.

When she was younger, she blew up her house all for a stuffed animal. That stuffed animal is probably all that she had to let her know who she was and where she came from, and who wouldn't do anything and everything to protect that? She lost her brother when she was younger, which undoubtedly has caused her much pain and grief through the years. She can speak Spanish and can draw, but who knows where she learned to do these things?

She might not know what's right or wrong or sane, but she does her best. While Sophie and most women would buy tons of shoes and handbags, Parker would rather just keep her money as money. While Eliot would rather just beat the shit out of anyone who gets in his way, Parker would rather use a taser to take out her opponent. Where Hardison excels in technology, Parker can tell you exactly how long, down to the millisecond, it would take you to break into the 52nd floor of a hundred story building. While Nate would think out things and figure out how to get into a con, Parker might like to take things as they come.

What did she do to be wanted in nine countries? What is it about Hardison that makes her open up, and is this why she likes him? Why does she like cereal so much? What goes on in that blonde head of hers? Only she knows. But who are we to question it? She's just Parker.
