first burn&tan of the summer
Oh wow. I seem to fail at updating my lj, but here goes nothing:
I dyed my hair red today! Very exciting, I've never done this before and it looks better than I dared to hope. Only a few annoying comments from family, my dad was just saying that the computer is on fire when I was using it. *sigh* family.
Some bands that I've seen in the last few months:
- The Smashing Pumpkins. It was a long wait, but now I've seen them. Pretty good, despite the shit they've been getting from critics. Billy had some problems eith his voice that he handled like a pro. Tonight, tonight still makes me cry. And Billy did amusing performance on Norwegian heavy metal singing.
- Animal Alpha. A band from Norway, just started listening to them this spring. I lovelovelove their singer, she's talented, screams like a pro and is very hot. The place and crowd wasn't the best, but they more than made up for it.
- Disco Ensemble. One of THE best Finnish bands around now. They always have amazing live shows and never fail to deliver. I was sick but still dragged myself to see them and it was totally worth it. They are on the Warped tour this year, so if anyone who reads this is going to go there, I recommend to catch DE live!
Nothing much has happened, I've mostly just enjoyed my summer vacation. Met old friends, drank and laughed too much.
