Yeah, really we enjoyed Vegas more than what my post probably makes it seem. all three shows were stellar, and that was one of the big reasons we picked Vegas. We do regret not getting in on a Grand Canyon tour. The things that did irritate us most about vegas didn't even make the post... 1) all the casinos are riffe with ciggerette smoke. And the path to anything in vegas leads through the casinos. 2) the army of immagrants clicking the corners of the little buisness cards with naked ladies who want to make your fantasies a reality are persistant, unyeilding and inconceiveably numerous.

I'm so glad to be back with Roy again. yeah, the short hair is differant, I wonder if having little ones lead to that disicion. I hear a lot of women go for shorter styles once their little ones start ripping out fistfulls. the shock of grey in his hair was an interesting change too. But it's still the Roy Porter I remember.

wow, just wow. So basically, what you are saying is, not making your flight in the first place wasn't the worse thing that happened that weekend... Oh, and I'm sure Kevin and I have told you that it is important to remember that walking to Hard Rock in Vegas is never a good idea. Finally, (put's on whiney voice) it's not fair you got to be there for the Beatle's stuff!

They had a lounge/bar where one whole wall was the word REVOLUTION, had a section of Beatles theamed slot machines, all the elevator music were Beatles midi songs... it permiated the whole of the resort.

Not to make my wife jelous, but you were on my mind quite a bit on my honeymoon, Jen =-) Kept thinking WOW, Jen would LOVE that! Did I mention that the memoribilia shop had one of the Beatles gold records on sale. The price tag was exorbidant, but what would you expect?

Although I've heard this story in person already, I have to say, man...I'm never, ever going to Vegas. ;)

Listening to you talk about Karate is so hillarious. I remember so much of the time we spent there, and the first time I ever sparred with Roy. I ignored him once and threw a Haito. He actually complimented me while he tickled my spleen with his toes. While talking through his shoulder...

See you on Friday.
