You knew this was coming!
So, I'm fostering some kittens that I got from
mooneyshine . She found them and was trying to find them a home. They were pretty skittish and feral at first as far as being kind of scared of people and hissy. But who can blame the poor little things. So, I am fostering them now and I think we are probably going to keep two of them and try to find a home for the other one. So, if anyone on here is interested please let me know. I am also going to be fostering some more kittens for three weeks and I'll post their pictures up here too. It's kitten season! I don't know, I just really like being able to take them in and get them used to people. It makes me feel good to have that connection and it gives me something to do. I know I can't save every kitten I see but I can save these and I am doing what I can. Anyway, here are PICTURES of our babies!
*As I take care of these cats and go to Furkids I can't help but wince at the stereotype of the cat lady. You know, the lady who buys Cat Fancy and only feeds her cat from the table with a bib around it's neck and a sparkling collar and wears those horrendous cat t-shirts that are only okay for 12 year olds to wear. I am really scared of becoming this lady, but I think I will be okay as long as I keep my werewolves close to me and tell dirty jokes a lot. That way I can balance out my cat ladyness with my other weird habits. Hahaha!
Loki
Loki (on top) and Hades (on bottom)
Loki. Look at that face! I love this little guy. He adores me already and runs up to me with his tail in the air. But he was not pleased about having his picture taken here.
Loki
Hades. This is the one that is up for adoption. This little guy cracks me up. He's a spitfire and has so much personality. I think my brother's fiance fell in love with him a little so I am secretly hoping he will take him. Then we can keep all the brothers and sisters in the family! But, yeah, Hades is so independent that I try to spend extra time with him to bond and get him used to people. I think he is finally deciding that I am alright.
Hades
Pandora. This is the only girl in the litter and since we are keeping her she will be the only girl cat we have. I'm not sure how that will work out but I think since my boys are so laid back and docile it will probably be okay. But Chris has a special place in his heart for Pandora and has grown quite attached to her. I think she's going to be a daddy's girl. Chris has never raised an animal this young so I think it will be a really good experience for him to bond with her. She's our adorable little sister.
