I landed the job for next year! Yay!!!
Finally something worked out. Finally I have a plan! This is a huge relief off of my shoulders. Now I have a future! It's a limited future, yes, but at least it's there.
So I'll be working in Madison all of next year. That means I need to find a place to live. When I told my roommate about the job, she implied that I could look with them. That makes me happy.
I still need to figure out exactly what's going on for my summer job, but this is peanuts compared to a real world job. Granted, it is an Americorps job, so it pays shit, but I did it myself. That's what I'm most proud of -- I did this all by myself! I made a killer resume and application, and I nailed the interview! I was so proud of my interview. Sorry I'm being repetitive, but me, yes!
