(no subject)
Ok, I'm finally back from that darned internet-barren house. Biggest high point of the last few weeks was EVANESCENCE!!! It was awesome and fantabulous and amazing. We didn't end up seeing them with Tess and Pete as originally planned as they didn't fancy lining up, i believe they had a nice dinner instead and came in later. I lined up from around 4:30, thankfully in the shade, with Pat and Emma. a while later Brad joined us near the front of the que where we waited until 6:15 and the outer doors opened... we then waited an age more for the inner doors to open. The wait was beyond worth it. i was 2 to 3 people from the front barrier the entire time, within reach of the security at the front (so was given water a few times). Amy was gorgeous the music was amazing, even Shihad the supporting band were pretty damned good (a bit of moshing happened with them which was great). I easily smuggled my camera in (where? in my cleavage of course) but unfortunately it almost got confiscated a few times while i was trying to take pictures so i ended up not really using it.
Despite all that it was an amazing night. I gave Pat and Em a lift home then went back and danced around the chiswick house to the album,,, the cats were very confused.
