Great Concert!!
I just got back from an amazing concert at Bogarts that I went to with Abby. It was The Starting Line as headliners, and Cartel, Copeland, Gatsby's American Dream and Like Lions. I absolutely loved The Starting Line, Cartel and Copeland. GAD was ok, kinda weird though. By the time TSL came on, Abby and I had managed to get almost to the stage, only about 3 rows away and slightly to the left. We were close enough to see everyone/everything and far enough away from the middle to avoid most of the shoving/moshing and crowd surfers. The only bummer was that neither of us thought to bring any cash in, so we couldn't buy anything to drink. We survived, but were very thirsty at the end of it. They confiscated the waters we tried to bring in (we forgot you were not allowed to bring in food/drinks) but they didn't get my fruit leather, so we atleast munched on those when we were hungry. A guy next to us saw me eating it and asked if it was peanut brittle- I said no but offered him some to try. He loved it.
After the concert we went to Perkins because we were both super hungry. We ran into Rob and some guys from his floor. Abby and I had good conversation and good food. It was very satisfying overall. Tonight was a great mood booster; I've been pretty down and hard on myself since Saturday, pretty much due to stuff that is outside of my control. It figures the time I really need my insurance in order to get medicine, I don't have the insurance. I'm going to try to get just a partial prescription and charge it to my credit card and hope it's not denied. Oh well, I know things will work out eventually; it's just been painful, depressing and sucky the past few days. Things are looking up kinda though. I'm going to bed to try to sleep for a few hours before getting up and doing a quiz that is due at 9:30. Good Night All.
