Jewelry

So, this is what I've been up to this past month... making tons of jewelry. I used to make jewelry when I was a younger, but it was all kind of low-budget and I didn't really have much of an eye for color or design. A month ago I decided to give it another try. I resolved to not cut corners this time around, and these are the results.

Sharks, the most adorable animal ever!

Ceramic owls and pink glass crystals.

Freshwater pearl necklace and matching earrings.

Labradorite (and pearl, in the case of the first pair) earrings. These wouldn't photograph very well, but the stone has a blue iridescence.

Labradorite and crystal necklace.

Green freshwater pearls and crystal.

Peachy pearls, pink crystals, and garnet-colored seed beads.

My first charm bracelet. If I try this again, I'm using much thinner headpins (I've since found some). It was a total bitch to make, but it came out okay. Not my style, but the recipient will love it.

Garnet chips and pearls.

Black iridescent glass crystals with black hexagonal seed beads. This is very long and meant to be worn doubled.

I made these earrings to go with the necklace above. I call them Ghost Earrings because they kept photographing like this, for no explicable reason:

Earrings with Swarovski crystals and iridescent glass beads. Not anything I'd ever wear, so I need to find someone else to give them to.

Extra-long freshwater pearl necklace, with a cute little key charm at the back.

Detail of an asymmetrical leaf necklace.

And... my favorite bracelet ever. This was actually an isolated effort I made about a year ago. It's supposed to look random, but the beads are arranged with opposing sequences. I'm never going to try to duplicate it.

And no Leah, your necklace isn't on here.
