Sunshine Becomes You :')
so the story goes like this, i pre-ordered Ilana Tan's newest novel titled "Sunshine Becomes You" last December and the book arrived a few days ago AND i just finished reading this awesome novel yesterday.
ohyea, first of all, i've read all of Ilana Tan's previous works. yup that's right, the well-known 4-season-tetralogy. from Summer in Seoul, Autumn in Paris, Winter in Tokyo, and lastly Spring in London. each story has its own awesomeness and charm. but personally, my favourite from this tetralogy are Autumn in Paris & Winter in Tokyo even though all of them are ALL good. Believe me.
Autumn in Paris is such a bittersweet story, and it has a pretty tragic ending so yeah it made me cried a lot. =( oh well, a stranger you met and fell in love with was actually your own step-brother with the same dad! and then he suddenly died in the end because of an accident in his workplace. actually the story is more beautiful than that though but nevermind. you know, i can't story-tell that well so....yeah. and oh, i loved Winter in Tokyo because it's such a sweet story and it has a happy ending which made me satisfied <3 ahhh i really love Ilana Tan's novels, they're really touching and they go straight into your heart. it's just so beautiful. and her own style of story-telling which is detailed but not too much, i love it. her way of describing the setting, the feelings of each character, Ilana Tan sure can potray them all well.
anyway, back to the topic. yeah, Sunshine Becomes You is her(?) *i'm assuming Ilana Tan's a woman, since... yeah~) newest work which is scheduled to be published in Feb, 2012. oh were you just wondering how i could read it already if it will be published next month? here i'll explain. i pre-ordered the novel cause i'm a big fan of Ilana Tan's novel and i know that her newest novel will be awesome too so i asked my mom to buy me Sunshine becomes you for my birthday (which was on 23rd Dec, fyi) gift since i spent my allowance already to buy some manga in my area lol. if you pre-order, you'll get the book before the official release in the bookstores and you'll get the author's autograph. and my mom agreed so she transferred the money and i waited for it patiently to arrive. and so one month later, my much anticipated package which contained Sunshine becomes you arrived! i was so happy, oh you can't possibly guess how excited i was to see it! i opened the packaging and found an autographed novel by Ilana Tan! ;~; the cover is beautiful and so is the story. also as expected Sunshine becomes you is another awesome novel by Ilana Tan. and i cried so hard when i was finishing it. :'( it ended quite sadly just like Autumn in Paris but it's still an amazing novel. i really loved it. <3 T__T
so for you guys who are fans of Ilana Tan's. i think you must definitely buy this novel, go go buy it on the coming 2nd Feb!
