6 February, the day when a certain young man named Jung Yunho was born. It was the day which he'd be the happiest man alive, sharing his happiest moments with the people he loved. But we all have to go through some changes in our life. And that's what Yunho'd been enduring right now.
It was Science class in the last period & Mr. Park Yoochun was teaching his students that time. Yoochun was explaining about the chemical reactions when he noticed a student building up a castle in the air. But he chose to ignore the young man at the back & continues explaining, knowing that it's not a silly one.
Yunho cant concentrate on his studies anymore that day. His mind was full of flashbacks & pains, knowing that his life would never be the same again. Receiving endless presents & wishes will never be enough for him. Those things will never bring his most precious treasure back to life. Yunho's eyes went watery when painful flashbacks of his precious' last moments played into his eyes like a projector
1 year ago...
"Where is he?? Tell me where he is!!!" Yunho grabs a nurse desperately like his whole life depends on it. The nurse was surprised at first, then realized what he'd meant & led him the way.
"Over there.."
The nurse opens a door & led the young man into a ward.. Yunho quickly rushed towards the side of the bed & grabs the hand of a sickly young man, who was calm yet breathing at an agonisingly slow rate.
The sickly young man's eyes flutters open & look at yunho, carressing his hand onto his cheeks with watery eyes.
"Y.. Yunho..." He breathed out the word slowly, recieving some hushes from the said man.
"Ssshh.... Jae... Dont talk anymore..." Yunho whispered , knowing that each word Jaejoong've said is too painful for his own body. But Jaejoong was always the stubborn one & ignores what Yunho've said. He knew he have to say it fast..... before his time ran out...
".... Ha.. Happy birthday...Y..Yunho-ah.." A tear ran down Jaejoong's cheek. His body was aching painfully just now, but it slowly fades away.
Numb.
Breathing felt so difficult & heavy suddenly. He felt sleepy & his eyes are dying to close, so that all his pains would just go away. Jaejong used his very last energy to say his last words to Yunho... before he finally close his eyes & never wakes up again...
"... I.. I love you....."
And that's when Yunho's whole world crumbles into pieces.
Yunho snapped back to reality when he noticed a tear ran down his cheeks. He quickly wipe it away with his sleeve & tries to focus back on studying. That was when something interrupts him.
Out of blue, a fair delicate hand reached out from the window next to him, placing a peach-scented envelope onto his table. Yunho was shocked though, since his class is on the third storey & no one could possibly climb onto the wall. But he wasnt scared at all. Because the hand belongs to an angel.
With bright rays shines behind him makes him glows, Jaejoong gave the young man his most beautiful smile no one can ever imagine. He carressed Yunho's smooth cheek & leaned closer through the window, planting a soft peck onto his forehead.
Yunho watches the man before him smiled again before he walk away. Am i hallucinating? He asked himself as if to make sure while touching his forehead, where Jaejoong had kissed him just now.
He blinks & look at the envelope on the table. He smiled to himself & kept the letter into his bag. After that encounter, Yunho can finally concentrates again in the class.
But his concentration only last for a few minutes when the last bell of the day finally rang. Yunho happily packs his books into his bag & was ready to go back home. He greets Yoochun goodbye before heading to the door.
"Yunho."
Yunho turn around.
"Yes, sir?"
"You should have just read the letter, you know?"
There was a long silence. Yunho gaped while Yoochun just smiled gently at him.
"Y.. You saw....?"
Yoochun nods & continues carrying his books. He went past Yunho & taps his shoulder.
"I'm sure Kim Jaejoong have alot to tell you."
And then Yoochun just leave Yunho standing in the class alone.
Yunho finally opened the seal of the envelope as soon as he leaves the school. He unfold the letter inside & began reading it with a smile.
Dear Yunho
Yunnie~!!! Happy birthday!!!! :D:D:D How have you been? I'm sorry for giving you too much trouble ever since i leave you. DD: I miss you so much, Yunnie.
Heaven is such a wonderful place. I felt very peaceful & happy there. So dont worry too much of me. I'm 100% OK! ;D
But one thing you have to know. There is only one thing that will never change for eternity. My love for you. You will forever stay in my heart. My thoughts will always full of you every moment, Yunho. Sometimes i will cry by myself, wishing to feel you by my side again...
Yunho smiled bitterly as he reads on.
There's something i have to tell you...
Yunho frowned a little while stopping at the end of the pavement , waiting for the red man to turn green.
It might be too fast for you, but we're going to meet again soon...
Without looking up, Yunho started to cross the road when he heard a beeping sound & sensed the people around him started to move forward.
Like now.
Yunho looked up from the letter when a loud screeching sound was heard. Everything went so fast . The next thing he knew he was thrown away with an incredible force when the fast vehicle hits him.
Sorry...
It was the last word he read on the letter. Yunho felt something wet & thick oozing out from the back of his head & his whole body was aching severely. He was paralyzed then & breathing seems to be the hardest thing he'd ever done. Surprisingly, the unbearable pain seems to fade away slowly.
He blinks.
"Where am i?"
The situation seems to be very confusing now. Yunho thought he was hitted by a car. But now... he was somewhere else. What happened to me? He thought as he ran his hands around his body, searching for some blood stains or wounds. And again, nothing.
"Yunho." A voice called out & Yunho quickly look up, knowing who's voice it belongs to.
"Welcome to heaven, Yunho. And i'm sorry." Jaejoong knelt down & pull Yunho into his embrace. Yunho was speechless yet he cant help but smiled & respond back to the hug.
"You dont have to. This is the best birthday present i've ever wished for."
