Women in Technology
We're interviewing at my company for a Sr. Oracle DBA, and while I knew this was going to be the case (considering the number of women in my field) I'm still frustrated that not only are none of the serious candidates women, but not even any of the applicants are women! Women in technology is a bigger issue than this of course, and I don't really feel like getting into it right now, but I really wish there were more women applying for this job, and that at least some of them were highly qualified, because I'd like to have a woman join our team. We'd be better off for it.
