I really enjoyed your version of the story! I definitely prefer slash, but any well written story that shows the love between Bodie and Doyle (physical or emotional love) is very welcome in my library. And this is well done - loving without being soppy, the lads stay the lads and the reader can feel right along with the characters. Well done!

I like both, some of my favs are slash - but I like the Gen too :0)

And, obviously, Joana Dey had already done the slash version!

But I'm glad you enjoyed it - I do have some slash in the pipeline though, so there will be some of that at some stage too...

Thank you for popping by, and thank you for your kind comments :0)

The original is more emotionally slashy, than physically slashy - although there is a bit of physicality.

I tried to follow the first half very closely, except in the Joana Dey original Doyle drops Cowley and drags him out of the bank.

In the second half, where the original gets slashy, I tried to stick to the same emotional themes - but obviously from a Gen perspective.

Bodie has an unfortunate leakage in both, poor lad!

It was quite an interesting challenge, because they're lying pressed on top of each other in both versions.

But if you're straight, you're straight. Tricky bit was trying to write straight in that situation - given Pros slashy mindset!

I'm glad you enjoyed it, although credit for the plot has to go to Joana Dey :0)

I think you did really well unslashing what is a very slashy story!
Brava!

Re-read it and spotted a typo - will have to find time to give it a dusting :0)

I don't know why likes sometimes turn into comments and sometimes don't. It is most curious.
