You're absolutely right, that song *is* beautiful and you've chosen the perfect scenes to go along with it. I particularly love the opportunity to see a different Bodie - love lorn Bodie - in the park with Marikka. Such a beautiful scene with the background music and what looks like early morning lighting.
Bodie's relationship with Marikka has always intrigued me (I've tried exploring a possible backstory - http://archiveofourown.org/works/1909947) - even Doyle doesn't seem 100% certain about the extent of Bodie's feelings.
For me, the two scenes which are the hook are the accusation of having been betrayed twice, because you have to trust to be betrayed, and the early 'phone call Bodie makes where he says he'd be happy just to talk to her. Which seems such a little crumb for a man of Bodie's usual appetite.
And he seems genuinely wistful for a future she can't offer when they meet in the park.
On top of which, Marikka is GDR, so you have to wonder how they met...
I'm not sure if he's in love, but there seems to be a deep seated infatuation.
Bodie/Marikka doesn't get explored much, people tend to go for Doyle/Ann, but I've always been fascinated precisely because it shows a side to Bodie which we never normally glimpse.
Well done, your first vid! I liked the slowness of it all, and the haunting element to it. B/M doesn't work for me in itself, but if it did, then this would be the vid! *g*
