Writing Meme: 7-7-7
I was put up to this by elmey who was apparently led astray by nineveh_uk and a host of other people:
I'm playing to encourage myself to finish said WIP.
The general rules are:
1. Go to page 7 (or 77) of your current WIP.
2. Go to line 7
3. Copy down the next 7 lines - sentences or paragraphs - and post them as they’re written.
Then you're supposed to tag 7 other people, but I'm leaving it there.
So, for me, this translates as:
''It seems to me the belligerence is all Soviet'' replied Napoleon sublimely.
''But as so often, not unprovoked'' retorted Illya.
There was an edge to that which suggested to Napoleon that he had found the point at which discretion became the better part of valour, so instead he tore a little off his second croissant of the morning and asked ''How are we going to occupy ourselves today?''
''I shall occupy myself in discharging my assignment. I am charged with your care'' Illya reminded him ''Mr Waverly is unlikely to be impressed if THRUSH deprive him of your services while I am in a position to prevent it.''
''Okay, how am I going to occupy myself today?''
''Given that you are on medical leave until the effects of the drug are known, I suggest something undemanding.''
''If you're going to suggest I take up needlepoint I may drown you in this coffee.''
