Sudden question popping up at 0.30
In Heroes' finale 1x23, when...
... Claire holds the gun against nearly-exploding!Peter and then Nathan arrives and BroYay saves the world...
... wouldn't have it been a lot more reasonable if Nathan had just took the gun and shot Peter himself? Not that Peter was going to die in any case, that had been pretty clearly stated before. AND that would have left Nathan... uhm... alive?
Not that I'm complaining for the 'I love you' 'I love you too' and the big sacrifice and OMFG THEY SO LOVE EACH OTHER AND YEAH, CRACK!FLYING!EXPLODING!SKY!SEX and all the rest, huh. Not at all. Just wondering.
