Characters will have base attributes: Physical, Mental and Social {maybe energy}. These traits will be numbered 1 -5, based on the immortal. They will also have skills, dealing with broad skill subjects. Characters will be given the option to take “narrow” skill subjects, which come cheaper, but are much less useful.
(1) Chits and cards: There are three sets of numbered chits, each for Physical, Mental and Social. The chits are numbered based on the character’s attributes, and when in a challenge the player draws from the appropriate section. Whoever draws higher wins
a. Players who do not wish to lose may then add a skill card to their total - provided the skill is directly applicable. They will have a number of cards, each marked with a number - those with one skill level will have one skill card with a number one. Those with three skill levels will have three skills cards, marked one, two, and three. After skills have been added, the winner is determined.
(2) Cards Only: Each players has a number of attribute cards for their character, each marked one, two, three… ect. based on their maximum number. For resolution, each character bids their choice number - and each must tear that card. Whoever chooses a higher number wins.

Majority of game time is meant to be spent in mortal or mixed form - to enter the world of man in monster form usually requires travel from the planes through a different gate then normal. While traveling to the world of man in monster form is often safest, there are very limited options in the world as a monster, and it is forbidden by the council to be in monster form in the world of man. Only abstracts who are still unseen by man may enter in monster form.
The monster form is the immortals strongest form, and those without a monster form may eventually gain one through in-game research and power gathering, and out-of-game spending of points.
Mixed Form
Character: Player:
Physical: Skills:
Mental:
Social: Powers:
Different forms have different benefits and drawbacks. Some powers and skills can only be used in some forms, which means shifting from one form to another mean you will lose some abilities, and gain others.
There are ways to shift from one form to another on the mortal plane, they are just very painful and very costly.
Currency
The currency of the immortals comes from the worship and behavior of the mortals. Ambrosia, a substance of immense use and desire to those who are immortal, is traded for many things, and often hoarded. It appears as an object most desired by the immortal who views it, and can be used for a multitude of things.
Ambrosia is the reason many immortals are heavily involved in the workings of the realms and the planes. When ambrosia is generated, it appears in the planes. Much of it mixed into the realm itself, to maintain the beauty and functionality of the plane.
The inhabitants of the plane take much for themselves as well, to indulge and keep themselves strong.
The rest is divided up among the realms, bases on which ones were instrumental in gathering the ambrosia. That ambrosia is used as the leader of the realm deems it - either to “fix up’ the realm, kept for himself, or split up among the residents of the realm.
Ambrosia can:
+ Be used as a realm trait
+ Allows an instant-win in any challenge
+ Be used to increase one’s power {translates to 1-2xp}
+ Heal wounds
+ Negate the effects of a power
Once spent, the ambrosia is gone. It is not unknown for Immortals, particularly Gods, to simply intake the ambrosia, as it gives a kind of “high.”
