This will be the last update in Fionna's Journal. That's right, make a note of it now, this is the LAST UPDATE. From now on all journal entries will be made in
Mutant_Babies.
So in honor of the end of this journal, I wanted to post about Fionna's first nap with us in over a year. This weekend she touched the glass screen on the fireplace and burnt her hand. She's OK and she knows not to walk on the bricks. I've been very strict about that. But these things happen. We iced and creamed and loved it up, but when it came to nap time she just couldn't relax, couldn't stop rubbing it on stuff and didn't want to be alone. And since I was climbing in bed for a nap anyway...I took her in with me. The three of us curled up and snuggled till she dozed off. I slept for about an hour and then was ready to get up, I couldn't really get comfortable with her there. She slept in our bed for another hour and a half though! This is her second nap in a big girl bed. I think we're closing in on time to switch her to a toddler bed. Any suggestions? We have one and I think it'd be good for her, plus she's getting big to lift in and out of that crib. But I don't want to traumatize her. Any of you done this? What should we do?
Ok, so go see
Mutant_Babies for updates.
