The day after Mother's Day, May 14th, the price of a first class stamp goes from 39 cents to 41 cents. Still one of the best deals for sending a letter anywhere in world. For that 41 cents, you can send a letter from Hawaii to Maine, and have it forwarded if the recipient has moved with a good forwarding order, or get it returned to you if they moved without a forward. Other postage rates are also going up, but they will be on the same percentage basis. Make sure you get enough postage on your letters, as it can take over a week to return it to you for insufficient postage.
