First day back at work since my surgery, and everything went fine. My legs and feet are a bit sore, but walking 12-15 miles will do that after a two week break. My new shoes seem to be working out fine so far, we'll see how they are after a week (gotta love money-back guarantees). It rained off and on all day, and my feet were still dry and warm at the end of the day :), something no other shoes have done yet. If there's anyone in Sacramento who didn't get their mail today until really late, it's because we were short-handed all over the city today. My apologies, for what it's worth. I made my last delivery at 7:15 today, and I wasn't the last carrier in my station to finish. The day after a holiday is always a heavy mail day, and we had a lot of carriers out, for various reasons.
