I drove Nina to school this morning. The roads were slippery, like "Doo de doo, time to stop for this stop sign, OH NO MY CAR IS SLIDING FORWARD I'M GONNA DIE oh wait I'm only going five miles an hour, oh wait, there the car stopped." That happened like 4 times, it was great, totally safe.
Which brings me to: Why didn't anybody think to salt the streets? Jerks.
That said, it was really beautiful when it was snowing. It snowed in chunks where you could see the actual snow crystals, which always rules. It still is awesome outside. Plus I wore the Doc Martens I got in like 7th grade when I was obsessed with Daria and loved that they wore combat boots all the damn time. I don't bust them out that often but I feel like since my foot size hasn't changed since then and probably won't change much in the near future I've gotten my money's worth. Plus when I do muster the energy to lace them up I feel just a tad more awesome.
