Slowly trying to trudge through that is becoming finals "week." At this point I have my 15-page junior paper due Tuesday(it's actually pretty important-that makes me very nervous), U.S. history final on Monday, East African History final on Wednesday, and Art History final on Friday (Dec. 16). In the meantime, I have to do some more Christmas shopping, COMPLETELY move out of my room by next Saturday, pick up my car from the garage, then bring it in and have the stereo replaced, and work out more kinks of going abroad. Positive aspects in my life: I got definite confirmation that I was accepted to the work program I applied to in Ireland, so it's for sure-my parents bought my plane ticket-I'm going to Ireland! I depart the U.S. on January 23 and return on August 13! Other good aspects: I'm almost completely finished with all of my work and I can almost go home and sleep and watch movies and read what I want and not spend money ALL FUCKING DAY LONG!!! Negative aspects: I have had a perpetual headache for almost two weeks now, I am sooooooo damn tired all the time, I keep having panic attacks, I just found out my mom has to get foot surgery (but has to wait until June and therefore walk around in pain for 6 months), and I am getting so damn depressed about not seeing all these people I love, not being at Oxy or in L.A. for almost 8 months. I just want to spend as much time as possible with everyone while doing really well on my work and getting all the mundane details of my life worked out. Should be pretty easy, eh?
