You know I've been thinking a lot about salisbury. No offence to any of you if u live in that area coz its by no means stereotypical but its almost as tho its a different breed of life out here.
The quality of people is definately much lower than elsewhere and I know that this is the poor part of adelaide but surely they don't have to let their personal hygiene slip down the loo!!
There are people I serve at work who look normal and are normal enough....but then there are the types who have little to noteeth at all..or they're rotting. They walk around with no teeshirts on, mullets (and I'm not talkin the trendy types) and smel of urine. I honestly don't understand how they can live under those circumstances.
I say that because I have been brought up in the western suburbs, in a nice large home that we own, with a loving family and I haven't known any different.
Does that make me a snob to be thinking and voicing my thoughts?!
I'm sitting here at the train station and a couple that look no older than me and have what looks like a kid no younger than 2. Now I went to school with people who are my age and already have 2 kids. But it wasn't as common to be young parents as much as it is out here!
Not only are people popping kids out everywhere and not looking after their appearance but they are picking fights left right and centre! I left hollywood this afternoon and there was a group of homies standing around talking then their voices got louder then there were punches being thrown left right and centre I have never encouraged violence. It actually almost scares me so being in a threatening environment like that when I finish work certainly isn't appealing.
The point of my rant is that I can't wait to be transferred to somewhere closer to home!
