Raindrops are falling on my head...

Gaaahhh...I need to shower! I feel so...so GEEKY! LOL...*evil laugh* I just had a looooong conversation with Max about everything from my strange and overwhelming urge to punch out Tom DeLay to time-management to getting kicked out of restaurants, hehe. It was fun...I haven't really laughed that much in a while =) But what was really funny (and ( Read more... )

I don't know if you ever knew, but Kyle (my ex) was a huge gamer. I swear, that was all we ever did. It was fun, but the games were more important than I was most of the time. Don't date one. I guess that was my long-winded advice there.

Although if you do ever have a LAN party, I'm there cause I could KICK YOUR ASS. Although I haven't played in awhile, I'm sure it could all come back.

I'm better at video games rather than computer games though. We should have one of those parties too.

Yeah, I never got too much into video games past like the original Mario Bros and the *old* old Legend of Zelda (does anybody else remember that one?), mostly because, while I could play computer games in relative peace, I wouldn't have been able to hide from my mother very well the fact that I was playing video games. And she would have flipped, especially when I was younger. Heck, she almost killed my brother-in-law for giving me Oni, and I was like 17 then, LOL.

Anyway...yeah. You probably will kick my ass, but I dunno...I've played Halo 2 much more recently than you have, hehe. Bring it on =P

You want to know something creepy? My mom has beaten every single Zelda game anyone has made.

My family (my mom, my bro and I) used to sit around and play that game for hours. No kidding.

Such good times.

Wow, I would have never thought that of you. Although, after the fact, I can totally picture you doing it.
Funnily enough, I'm such a non gamer that I didn't know what it meant till I read "video games" in the last paragraph, LOL.

Hahaha...yeah, I would never have really thought it of myself, either. Don't get me wrong, though, it's not that I've played huge amounts of video games, just that I think I have the potential to get really into it. Also, most of the games I like are RPGs, not first-person shooters. They're not that much different than your play-by-email thing you do...they're just graphic-based instead of text. (Although I've played text-based stuff before too...it can be quite fun. I *love* my favorite MUD, LOL...)

*points to icon* glad to see you getting in touch with your inner gaming-geek! Embrace the fanaticism ... lol.

Also Max is correct, it is, as we gamers say, teh sex4h for a girl to be into games.

You and he should develop your geeky qualities at Cal Arts next year. A lot. Muhahahaa!

Hah...yeah, I don't think I'll have much choice...especially since he's already talking about rooming together and playing MMORPGs all night =P

Yeah, that's the other thing...the fact that I can read that 1337 crap scares me. What I just typed should look like a number to me...not a word, LOL

Playing MMORPGs all night is proven to increase longevity, sharpen the intellect, and enhance one's personal appearance. I give it my unreserved seal of approval.

In any event, you must be about as excited as I am about school next year.

Agh, get it away from me! It's nonsense, nonsense I say! I don't understand a word of it! *crosses fingers behind back* Hehe...

Yes, I'm totally psyched (I'm NOT a valley girl, LOL) about school next year. Although there have been some benefits to going to DePaul...for one, I can now more fully relate to Max when he bitches about going to a private Catholic school =P
