It has been an interesting couple of weeks for the Fifi.
One of my friends had a stillborn. That was pretty depressing cause I like babies.
I got a 2 week trial as a receptionist, and lasted a whole 2 days!
I applied to do my RSA through OTEN. Huzzah for learning.
I quitted smoking, yes I did. Nicotine patches are f*cking itchy, but I have the most amazing dreams while wearing them. Apparently vivid dreams is a common side affect.
I went to a cat show. Sooo many cute kitties. Except for the Cornish Rex's, man are they fugly! It was sad to see the cats in cages though. I wanted to let them all out.
And, as usual, real estate is depressing. I'm looking for a 2 bedroom (6 months rent paid up front) so if I still don't have a job after 6 months I can get a flatmate. But it is looking impossible. Most of the places I enquire about are either already gone or completely overpriced. I ain't paying 250 per week for a shithole. And the most annoying thing is that I had a couple of potential flatmates lined up but they've all backed out. Not that I really wanted flatmates again, but I'm getting desperate! I'm so sick of being here. I miss having people to hang out with. I miss sushi, and indian food and happy cup/easy way iced tea. I miss buying dvds from a store.
Oh well, I will be back eventually. And I shall have my own place, and 3 cats and be a crazy cat lady.
