It's a funny thing, but lots of people have said that the Elf Twins, Ace and Will, remind them of Alexander and Hephaistion. The strange thing is, that when I started writing about the elves, I didn't know anything about Alexander and Hephaistion. Then, when OS announced he was making the film, and I started reading about them, the first thing that attracted me to them was how much they reminded me of the elves. It really was that way round!
