Night of Hell, Anyone???
So last night I spent the night in NY Presbyterian Hospitals emergency room...
It all started when I woke up I was getting some funny pains in my belly. I ignored them, as I am always feeling this way and had a bagel with cream cheese and an apple for breakfast. We got a last minute invite to a Yankee game. On the way, I felt really tired and incredibly nauseous. I didn't eat anything, except for a few chips and two or three peanuts for the whole day and I was becoming increasingly nauseous. We went to visit Daves mom at night, which I was sort of opposed to because I had felt so ill. I basically slept while they all ate dinner and started having to run to the bathroom (extreme fun...no, not embaressing at all..). I told Dave to hurry and I was feeling marginally worse. We made our way to the elevator and started walking out the service entrance of her building. Suddenly I started to faint and my knees turned to jelly. I fell to the ground to stop myself from fainting and began vomiting and convulsing. The workers in the building called an ambulance immediately. I was laying in a pool of vomit writhing around and feeling worse than ever when they arrived. After two or so trips to the bathroom again, they strapped me into the ambulance and off we went. We spent about six hours in the hospital. I threw up in this convulsing manner a grand total of three times. I ran to the bathroom about every twenty minutes or so (and still am). I was getting freaked because I was (sorry for the yuck detail) shitting all blood. I loooked so friggen scary whenever I caught a glimpse of myself. They put me on an IV because of how dehydrated I was getting. Finally al my blood results and stuff came back and i have a nasty virus that has to run its course. Its a viral form of gastroenterisis. Fabulous. I am home sick today from work and I am paranoid that I will miss my other school's concer tthis thursday! I am conducting and I really can't miss it (obviously). I still haven't eaten anything since last night and I am petrified to. I've been drinking like crazy and thats about it. I wouldn't wish this crap on ANYONE.
