How the hell did I do this?
So I've had an issue with my student visa...which annoying commences on the 28th of August. After much trepidation and frustration we (David and I) finally decided that it was not worth risking my current visa to get into the UK early.
This of course means that I won't be able to leave until the 27th of August whereby delaying my flight by a month.
Let me be the first to say...
FUCK YOU FUCKING HOME OFFICE/IMMIGRATION DEPARTMENT
Its not the fact that I can't leave the country (well it is a bit) but mainly, its the fact that every single time I speak to someone over the phone I get a snippy, rude answer. The last lady I spoke to, I think her name was Lucy was so rude that she gave me a condescending laugh for ever DARING to suggest that I'll leave early. That really makes me fume.
Yes, I can understand that perhaps you've had a long day and you're tired, I can understand that you are telling me bad news but you have NO right to be rude and condescending when I am polliely asking a question. I swear its a power trip for them.
The most frustrating thing however is the fact that I keep getting different answers from different people. I really do wish they would have one set answer so I can at least be sure.
On the bright side, I suppose it gives me some time to organise my affairs and organise payments which I would otherwise not have had. *sighs* I am THIS close to smashing something very hard.
On another note I have NO idea how I managed to do nothing for 2 months during the uni break. I have been at home for nearly a week now and I am bored out of my mind. I guess I'm used to working and stressing and this will give me a good chance to catch up on things I haven't done for a year or so now but honestly.....how did i do this without going crazy?
I think I'm going to have to procrastinate a bit more.
