When the U.S. invades some poor third world country and there's a newscast with the sound of shots and bombs falling and all that?
It does not sound as non-stop explosive as what's going on outside right now.
And fireworks are illegal here.

*edit* From the front windows I can only spot three separate families' firework displays. From the back windows, I counted nine. At least three-fourths of these are big fireworks, just slightly smaller than the stuff that professionals set off.
*has no sympathy for any of these families if they complain about the price of gas or food for the next year. Fireworks that size are expensive*
