Oh this chapter was all kinds of sweet, I don't know where to start! I always have the biggest smiles on my face anytime there's a Sam and Annika father-daughter bonding moment. He's come such a long way so to see him be so sweet and loving towards her is heartwarming. Such a bummer Finn couldn't be there for her birthday, though his school commitment is understandable and it'll be all kinds of adorable when the three of them celebrate together later. And those Skype sessions...ah-dorable! Another great moment was Puck and the ultimatum and how it really put some pressure on Sam about telling Finn about the baby. Puck's right about how Finn missed out with Annika that it's unfair for that to happen again. I'm very excited (and nervous) to see how Finn reacts and how they handle this as it's obvious for everyone, except maybe Finn, that Finn needs to stay in school. Your updates make me incredibly happy and I look forward to them. You are doing a fabulous job and I hope you update again soon

Thank you! I love writing Annika with pretty much anyone. Children are so adorable and innocent and always put a smile on my face :) I really do like the Puck/Sam friendship going on because Puck has been in Finn's place (kind of) so he's got that point of view to kind of help Sam realize what Finn is feeling.

Brittany/Annika moments are probably my favorite to write :) I'm glad you liked it!

I'll continue updating and will finish the story, even though I'm super depressed about the Sam/Chord mess...

Yeah definitely puts a major damper on things and I still don't think the news has sunk in yet. But on the bright side, I'm glad to hear you'll still be updating and giving Sam - and Finn - the ending they deserve! :)

Everything about this fic makes me love sam all the more, it's so fucked that Chord (Sam) didn't get his contract picked up for next season and that he *may* only guest star a handful of times.

Your story is the best and I really loved this chapter. I love how the older Annika gets, the more we're getting to see her personality and get to share in the excitement of her milestones just like Finn and Sam do. The stage she's in, mimicking everyone and everything, is really fun and it was so cute seeing her do that a few times throughout this chapter. Also I have a feeling that Sam's reluctance to tell Finn about the baby will come back to bite him when Finn comes home for Thanksgiving next month and by then can probably see the evidence of the new baby on Sam. I'm glad Puck's there to hold Sam to his promise since he definitely needs it. More soon please!

Thanks! Yeah, Annika is super adorable. I'm loving her character and how adorable she is - it's also nice to have that uplifting side to the story even though there are some darker parts when Sam and Finn are on rocky ground and Sam has to worry about the future. It gives the fic a better mood I think :)

I don't know the exact date, but I can promise at least one chapter before I leave on my vacation! I leave on July 8, so there will be a new chapter posted before then :)

I didn't know about Chord until I saw the comments here... now I'm sad ... hmm

I know he does, and he will - soon. No worries. Puck is very persuasive.

I'm super sad about Chord but I'm pushing through - if Sam doesn't get a happy ending (or any ending, really) in the show, then he gets one in my fic for sure :)

Nice update! The dolphin gift from Brittany was so awesome, it totally cracked me up. I also like Puck and Sam's friendship, even though they are my OTP. I'm liking that he is getting more involved, because Sam definitely needs a friend right now. I'm glad you are continuing this (I read another comment) even though this crap is happening with Chord. I plan on continuing to write Puck/Sam and Sam/whoever stories until I get tired of it, regardless of whether or not he's on the show. I hope you do the same :)

Thank you! I loved the dolphin gift so much you don't even know! My roommate came up with the idea and I fell in love with it like, instantly.
I'm definitely going to keep writing Sam. He's one of my favorite characters and he'll never *really* be gone for me.
