Ronald Reagan's 1964 Address- A Time for Choosing.
A Radio Host in New York played this whole speech on his program this evening. It is Ronald Reagan's first venture on to the National Scene, or really the political scene in any way. He was an actor and the long time President of the Screen Actors Guild. In this speech he explains why he has become a Conservative after years of being a Democrat, and also endorses Barry Goldwater in the Election of that year. Goldwater lost, but Reagan went on to be elected two time governor of California and then one of the best modern Presidents.
