For the most part your Reid always seems very confident and in control, I like that you reminded us that his abandonment issues are still there beneath the surface.
“People leave. They say they won’t and then they leave anyway.”
Yeah, he`s had more people leaving him than would be fair... First father (no matter what the reasons behind it were), then mother (absent in a different sense, but not there when it counted), then his "big sister", and then his mentor/father figure. Four people, so no doubt that would leave issues behind.
I love his abandonment issues. So realistic emotions, love the love and devotion from Morgan. Him and Chad were funny together talking. Garcia's so hilarious. The ending was so wow. I can't wait for more. Great chapter. Loved it. I hope Morgan gets invited to that bath and helps *cough* Reid relax. Thanks for sharing!
Nice idea, but I think I`ve already done a scene with them in the bath. And them in the shower and in a sauna, and them in a steam room... Hmmmm... what warm and humid places is there left? LOL
So my comment is like a week late, but I get my e-mails sent to my phone, so you can imagine my excitement when I woke up to find an e-mail saying you posted this chapter! :D
It definitely lived up to my expectations. I love that Reid still has that insecurity or whatever you want to call it. :') So touching.
(Good to hear it lived up to expectations, because I wasn`t sure at all about it. First I thought it was too sad, then too much of a happy ending, rewrites over and over again. Elle was going to leave again, so it felt natural that Reid would assosiate her with everyone else in his life that had just left him, and there`s been quite a few of those people.. more than enough for one young man.)
