Chapter 1/2

“Pretty Boy…”

“Yeah?”
“Kill me now.”
“We’re ten minutes from home.”
“I don’t care…” Morgan shimmied against the backrest of his seat. “I can’t get comfortable.”
“If you’d know when to stop, you could.”
“No sermons-”
“No, just an observation.”
“Are we there yet?”
“Open your eyes and look.”

“Then I’d have to move my head to look out.”
“You can’t be that sore.”
“I can.”
“Move your head to the left.”
“Why?”
“I want to see the lines of motion to determine the right course of action.”
“I’m not sure if I’m up for action.”
“My course of action, not yours.”
“I don’t like the sound of that…”
“To the left.”

Morgan twisted his head to the left and grimaced.

“And to the right.”
“Baby-”
“To the right.”

“Fine…”
“Can you bend your head down to your chest?”
“Ouch.”
“Now we’re making progress. Tilt your head back.”
“Ouch again.”
“Good.”
“How’s that good?”
“You can move to certain directions, but not to others. Based on that knowledge I can make assumption on the areas I need to focus on to relieve the damages.”
“You think there’s damages?”

“Any injury towards a living organism can be generally categorised as a damage. In your case, you have several places where blood has invaded the soft tissue-”

“They’re called bruises, baby. Don’t make them sound so bad.”
“I don’t, I just try to analyse the situation objectively, despite my personal connection to you, and the personal concern for your physical well-being.”

“I got bruises and a stiff neck. I’ll survive.”
“Interesting how a closer look at your injuries re-awakens your masculine instincts. The same instincts that prevented you from staying out of a situation where a predestined result would be you in your current form.”
“Are you saying I was destined to loose?”

“Well… you two have been sparring together often enough to collect enough data to accurately predict the outcome-”
“You expected me to loose!”
“Maybe…”
“Exactly how accurate was your prediction?”
“When it comes to you… my accuracy is about ninety-two percent.”

------------------------------------

“Should we… get in?” Hotch suggested between kisses.
“You read my mind…”
“Inside I mean, neighbours will start wondering why we`ve spent fifteen minutes in the garage.”

“I like cars.” Chad stated and pulled the man back to meet his lips. “Brings back memories.”
“I never did things like that when I was a teenager.”
“Neither did I, but I catched up later.”
“My back’s too old for this… I need a good bed.”
“Your back’s not that old.”
“Too old to do it with the transmission stick against my back.”

------------------------------------

“Gimme a sock.” Morgan demanded and buried his face against his crossed arms.

“You just took yours off.” Reid added another dose of ice gel on the man’s back.
“Not for  my feet, for my mouth. And make sure it’s clean.”
“You don’t have any. We haven’t done laundry after we got back from Texas. You want my sock?”

“You mean those clown socks? No thanks, I’ll rather squeal like a fire engine.”
“Very accurate description…” Reid sunk his thumbs to the sore muscles in Morgan’s back and rubbed the ice gel into the skin.

“And how is it possible you have clean socks, but I don’t?”
“You threw away half the content of your sock drawer after that incident with Clooney.”
“Yeah, that… Why didn’t you tell me to get some new socks?”
“I did, and you said that the day you take clothing advice from me, is the day you’ll get an afro wig and take a job as a go-go dancer in a transvestite conference centre.”

“I said that?”
“Yeah, and just in case you didn’t know, there really is a transvestite conference centre. It’s in San Francisco.”
“I should have known you would know something like that…”
“I didn’t know it, but I checked it from the web.”
“Are they hiring?”
“You’re in no condition to start dancing right now.” Reid moved his fingers down Morgan’s spine, massaging the muscles around it. “Is that a sore spot?”
“No.”
“This?”
“No.”
“This?”
“Owww!”
“I assume that was a yes. Keep still…”
“Owww!”
“Better now?”

Morgan mover his head carefully.
“Yeah… what did you do?”
“I read that book about relaxation techniques. It’s all about small motions on a specific area.”
“That’s why you poked me in the beginning?”
“I had to pinpoint the problem area.”
“Anything you can do about the bruises?”

“No.” Reid grabbed a towel to wipe his hands clean. “You’ll just have to wait till they go down.”
