“Yeah?”
“You’re really killing the whole fun of watching quizzes.”
“I’ve been right every time.”
“That’s not the point, you don’t give me time to answer.”
“Would you know the answers?”
“Not all of them-”
“So why would you make guesses that have no practical merit and gives a negative description of your general knowledge?”
“We’re not watching that to show off, it’s supposed to be relaxing!”
“Answering questions is relaxing.”
“Not to me. Just take a break. No answers for ten minutes. You can talk about other stuff, but just ignore the questions, okay? Can you do that?”
“Okay….” Reid groaned. He leaned back and surrounded himself with couch cushions. “Clooney?”
The dog jumped up to the couch and curled up in the genius’s lap.
“That’s still creepy….” Morgan commented. “You and a dog….”
“You’re the one who introduced us and wanted us to get along.”
“I didn’t mean too well. Now I have to take him for a walk and he still favours you.”Morgan eyed the genius and the sleepy dog. “Are you gonna sulk now?”
“I don’t sulk, I’m bonding with a canine. A domestic dog, Canis Lupus Familiaris, is a domesticated form of the Wolf, a member of the Canidae family of the order Carnivora. The term is used for both feral and pet varieties. The domestic dog has been one of the most widely kept working and companion animals in human history-”
“This is not gonna stop until I give up, isn’t it?”
“Over the 15,000 year span that the dog had been domesticated, it diverged into only a handful of landraces, groups of similar animals whose morphology and behaviour have been-”
“Fine, watch your quiz.”
“Thank you, La clemenza di Tito.”
“What?”
“Mozart’s final opera. Although the question only said last, without differentiation of last being the last one to finish or the last one to be performed.”
“Baby-”
“What?”
“On second thought….” Morgan sighed. “….go on.”
“Thank you. Mozart actually completed The Magic Flute after the Vienna premiere of La clemenza di Tito, but-”
Morgan scratched Clooney’s ear and focused on the unfortunate quiz guest on the TV screen.

Sean almost dropped the coffeepot when a pair of arms snaked around his waist and a warm body was pressed against his back. He finished setting up the coffeemaker before he turned to face the man.
“One day you’re gonna give me a heart attack.”
“One day you’ll learn to listen what’s going on around you.” Cain planted a sleepy kiss on his lips. “Morning.”
“Morning.” Sean leaned closer, pressing his forehead against Cain’s and closed his eyes for a minute. “Gimme a minute, I need to wake up….”
“Or you could go back to bed.”
“No, I’m waiting for coffee….”
“What do you want with it?”
“Milk.”
“For breakfast, and don’t say cereals. I threw that crap away.”
“You threw away my cereals!”
“That stuff is so loaded with sugar, you’d be bouncing up the wall in an hour.”
“I need the energy.”
“You’re not five, you’re too old to eat chocolate cereals just because it’s sugary and there’s a prize in every packet.”
“Great, I’m sleeping with the Diet Police….” Normally Sean would have protested more fiercely, but sleep was tempting him back to slumber.
“I made a deal with your big bro.”
“What kinda deal?”
“I’ll do what’s necessary to make a man out of you.”
“What does that mean?”
“Well, I’ve already done most of the basic parts. I’m making sure you eat big boy food and not crap meant for whining kids.”
“What else?”
“I make sure you get enough exercise on a regular basis.”
“That explains last night….”
“I meant the gym, but sex is good exercise too. And I’ve limited the time you spend with your X-box.”
“Anything else?”
“Yeah, but I’m not awake enough for that.” Cain commented and buried his face into the crook of Sean’s neck.
“You know….” Sean yawned. “For a tough guy, you’re a real softie….”
“It’s been a long while since I’ve been in one place long enough to get to the cuddling phase. I’m catching up.”
