1. How did you become interested in acting?
- When i was younger, I always loved the make believe, pretend worlds that little kids make. I didnt have just one imaginary friend, i had my own universe. I always loved experiencing new things and seeing life from different perspectives. So that was my start. Also, the first play i saw was gypsy, at my synagog, and I absolutley loved it, I knew right then that I wanted to be on stage. So next year they were putting on The music man. Both my mother and I auditioned, she got a lead and I got chorus but no big, i still loved being on stage. I had alot of fun with that and I wanted to do more. After that show, a guy named Paul, (i dont wanna put his last name in), was directing Annie get your gun at another temple near my house. I auditioned and got a lead, and that was probably one of, if not my favorite show to work on. I had so much fun with it and i knew from then on that Acting was what i wanted to do. Its not just being on stage, its also the work that goes into developing a character and bringing him to life. I loved both the rehersals and the shows, i loved the whole aspect. After the show Paul told me about a theatre company he worked at, he told me to come by, check it out, and if i liked it, i should audition for a show there and go into the teen workshops. After that everything kind of fell into place, I worked on a bunch of shows there, then actually taking a break from acting for three years, then i found out about Walnut Hill, which in my opinion was the best decision i ever made for myself, going there. its an incredible school and i would recommend it to anyone interested in the arts. Now not only do i know more than i ever knew about acting but i am also more passionate and determined than i ever was.
2. What is the one thing you wish you could do that you know has no chance of happening in real life?
-Honestly, this is probably really corny, but i wish i would fly, either by having huge angel, owl, or even bat like wings or just being able to lift off the ground. My body would be able to withstand high winds, i would be able to breath in any air pressure etc. etc. But yea, so thats what i would want. oh and the wings would be my height plus a third, so they would grow as i grew.
3. What do you believe is your best aspect? Biggest flaw?
-My biggest aspect is that i personally think i have a silver tongue. I think i can talk my way out of anything, i can make great first impressions, and by talking to someone i can really connect with people. My biggest flaw is probably the fact that i cant see through fake people sometimes, or the fact that they are just using me. I do trust a little to easily and i think thats going to haunt me if i dont figure out how to fix that.
4. If you could use a time machine and go to any era, which would it be and why?
-This is an easy one. I would go back to the time of Al Capone and the speakeasys. I wrote a long essay on him junior year and i think it wouldve been so much fun to live in the world of gambling, drinking, and clubbing.
5. (this may be awkward but i have to ask) What did you learn from our relationship?
-Alright, over all i think i just matured alot from it. It helped me grow up alot. I mean there are alot of things i learned from our relationship, including things about myself, women, friends, people in general and a bunch of other things. So the best way of putting it i guess is saying that it helped me mature as a person. I wouldnt be the person i am today if we hadnt dated so i guess thank you. I love who i am today and our relationship helped me become who i am. I'm not sure whatelse to say, i feel kinda bad cause your entry was so long.
