Plus side of my job
I love it when profs giggle. It's dorky, adorable, and I know we are on the same level.
Today I was half an hour late for a meeting with a prof about some university project, again playing the student consultant. Within twenty minutes, we were swapping operating system jibbs and he did this snort giggle thing with his shoulders, totally the kind of laugh you get teased for in high school. It was so vulnerable and honest, one of those "I am a nerd, please think I am cool" actions that you never expect from authority figures. And it was cool, all things considered. Certainly made my day better.
