Her cheeks tinged a light pink as the words spilled from his mouth, his eyes never leaving hers. She couldn't muster words, or even thoughts clearly as his cheeks were ghosted with the same sort of blush his lover wore. His lips parted, his eyes flitting down, the pink turning brighter on his pale face.
"I'm sorry..." he whispered, nibbling at his lower lip now, and taking his hand from her face. The rough skin of his thumb tickled her jaw as it went, and she grabbed his hand back, leaning her cheek upon it and staring at him. His eyes ventured back to her's hesitantly, anxiousness plain as day on his face. But still, she couldn't form words. She simply shook her head, then leaned in to kiss him. After a moment of her lips on his he relaxed and began kissing her back, calm rushing through him.
