remember our friend "ri"?
so after not seeing him since last fall (thank goodness), i had the pleasure of seeing him the other day.
i'm sitting at a little table right outside of the computer lab, and he happens to walk by and we catch eachother's vision.
i give a little half-assed 'i-don't-want-to-talk-to-you-but-i-gotta-be-friendly' wave, and he looks right at me and goes "wanna hear something crazy?"
reluctantly, i say "sure."
"my girlfriend and i are having a kid and getting married."
"uh... congrats man, that's... great."
what am i supposed to say?
here's a dude, 23 years-old, probably about 2 full years away from finishing his undergrad, and quite possibly, no, definitely severely mentally unstable, and he's bringing a brand new life into this world!
i feel for the kid, really.
