Well it has finally came to pass. Last night at 1000 pm eastern time 9 microphones were set up on stage at state theater. i had just sat out on the sides for voodoo glow skulls and all my preparation in the last months was about to be put to the test. There were all kinds of characters at this skank fest and i knew the one wearing the purple ray finkles revenge shirt was about to blow minds. Once i heard the openning trumpet i proceeded to skank my heart for the following hour non-stop in honor of my favorite band Streetlight Manifesto. there were punk skanks, team skanks ,circle skanks, rudeboy skanks, blueboy skanks, and skankity skanks all of which i part took in. then it happened before i knew it the band finished with "a moment of violence" and walked off the stage. I was happy yet somewhat sad , my song "mr.gepetto" had never been played and although i was super stoked there was a part of me that had saved some energy for that one song. As i turned to walk out the cheers of the crowd started growing as i turned around i see the brass sectons picking back up their instruments and i could only hope for one thing to be said. "ooooooooooo mr.jepetto......" that was my cue , before i knew it i was up onstage skanking as fast and as hardcore as i had ever done with all of streetlight watching in disbelief i ended my skank i dove off stage into the crowd to finish the rest of the song and later catch a drummer of nss. when it was all said in done i walked out of state theater completely soaked in sweat with mikey t, jason s, and the snake. probably one of the best nights of my life that will go down as the longest skank is history. As for today the sub must be cleaned. i get home at 2 and by 3 the sub will look as good as new. Sent my videos in yesterday lets hope those dirtballs appreciate it.
