The red vapor has dissipated, and with it the hallucinations and nightmares that plagued this facility. The vapors, though not analyzed, did have easily discernable and observable effects, most notably heightening anxieties and paranoia. The hallucinatory aspect seems specifically tied in with this emotionally altering chemical substance, and there were no recorded cases of positive hallucinatory experiences.
It is logical, then, to assume that the chemical was a weapon, and a powerful psychological one at that. Though the possibilities of this event being merely further influence from a fellow Draftee exists, it is also highly probable that our enemy utilizes more than brute-force combat tactics, even to the point of relying upon highly specialized psychological warfare.
