i've been working my ass off the past week or so... 6am-5pm blue collar shifts. eating lunch meat and cheese sandwiches... coming home with sore feet and a weary head...
hanging out with the good earnest people of the American working class... white and black small town men with big sky dreams and easy pleasures... guys that will tell you where you stand every moment. weakness is not a strength in this environment... they're all tough son of a bitches. beaten up by life, time in the military, and living life in a rat race that long ago forgot to pay them what they're worth.
I contacted a couple of boxing editors and I'm going to be covering boxing again... well it's 10 till 9p and I have to get a bath and hit the bed... tomorrow I get to hang out with this smart and beautiful lady... her kisses are like golden rays of sunshine in a cold winter and holding her is as comfortable as being in the womb...
