Cimorene is almost aggressively fighting off the snit Howl had put her in into, though her subsequent conversations with other people have helped. Somewhat. And it is a nice day, after all, so another walk seemed in order. There was a lot of anger to get rid of in the first place, after all. Wizards.

She was going to put off seeing Percy until she'd made a decision one way or the other, but suddenly there's the cottage anyhow, right in front of her. She halfheartedly glares at her traitorous feet. However, since she is here anyway, Cimorene decides to go ahead and poke her head in.

"Hello?" She half knocks, half just comes in.

"Hi!" He turns from the bed, gives Alma a ruffle. As usual, his shock of red hair is tousled, and there're smudges on his face. Always dirty, this one. But always smiling.

She can't help returning it. "Some spring cleaning, then? Or just the usual?"

[fingersofleaf]

"Sorta the usual. It is pretty messy, isn't it?" Not that we are self-conscious because there is a really nice, strong, not-afraid-to-put-in-shingles girl in our house, or anything.

[dragon_dealer]

"I've seen worse." She leans in the doorframe. "Besides, I always hated places that were too clean. They always made me feel like if I breathed too hard, I'd mess everything up."

T: And sadly I must be off - silly plane to catch and all. See you tonight, though, if you're around.

"Well, I guess I'll have to make sure it don't get too clean." He beams.

Typist: I'm always around. <3 Have a safe trip!

[dragon_dealer]

She laughs a bit. "Can't imagine that'll be too hard."

[fingersofleaf]

"I figure not," and then he stands and just looks at her, a bit rather awkward. "Um--"

[dragon_dealer]

"...it's nice to see you." She hovers a bit, within the doorway, suddenly unsure. It was not a sensation she was very familiar with.

"You, too," eagerly, pouncing upon the prospect of conversation. "How are you doing? Did you find a place to stay yet?"

[dragon_dealer]

She rubs her arm. "Yeah, I mean... sure. I've been staying in the Mansion. I've been thinking about your offer, though."

[fingersofleaf]

"Yeah? I could show you your room--I mean, the room you'd have if you decided ta stay."

[dragon_dealer]

"That makes sense. Thank you." There was no reason for her to be this awkward, and so she stalwartly decided not to be. Just like she wasn't angry at Howl anymore. ...right.

[fingersofleaf]

"Okay." Percy's ears and neck are turning reddish with a blush, and he can't think why, because girls haven't embarrassed him in a long time--and quickly turns to show her through into the new addition and the three rooms within. "There, it's that one there."

One with two windows, one over the head of the bed and the other by the side.

"Percy, this is lovely." And she means it. It's much cozier than her too-big room in the Mansion, and reminds her more of the Mountains than of the palace in Linderwall.

"Yeah? You think so?" He sounds delighted. "I guess it'd be easy to put in a table or somethin' if you wanted one--"
