Well, it's Easter Day--it's Easter Day. Percy's house is full of the most beautiful smells--hot cross buns, doubtless the result of Heli's hard work, two chickens, to feed all of the housemates and the handful of guests who are present; as well as fresh, cold water to drink and almost certainly the fruits of Cimorene's dessertful labour. Cimorene is actually wearing a skirt (not that this is so shocking, as she always wore dresses prior to coming to the Mansion), and her hair is part loose in honor of the holiday. And she is, secretly, gorging herself on buns between preparations. Because hot cross buns are wonderful.

And Heli's are probably the best in the entire world. And unlike Percy, she does not set the house aflame while making them.

Percy catches her hand in between bouncing around, and kisses her--discreetly, but joyfully.

She returns it, with a smile. "Happy Easter. Have I made enough? I didn't know who all was coming."

"It looks like enough! We always have too much. That's part of it, it's okay. You eat the leftovers for a coupla weeks."

[dragon_dealer]

"There won't be any leftover dessert. Never is." Another quick kiss.

"Ain't an insult," grinning.

[dragon_dealer]

"No, I suppose not."

Anxiously, "I think everybody's happy."

[dragon_dealer]

"Everyone's perfect. Don't worry."

So he smiles quickly. "I'm so happy."

"Me too. Oh! I invited Gaheris, for dinner sometime. Not today, but speaking of company."

[fingersofleaf]

"Ooh, okay. Is he better?"

[dragon_dealer]

"Some. He's living with his brothers again."

[fingersofleaf]

"Ohhh, that's good."

[dragon_dealer]

"He looks much better," softer.

"Good," Percy says, fervently.
